The B-3 alloy exhibits excellent corrosion resistance to hydrochloric acid at all concentrations and temperatures. It is also resistant to sulfuric, acetic, formic, and phosphoric acid, as well as non oxidizing, pitting and stress cracking corrosion. Often used in the chemical processing industry.
