UNS S30900

Sometimes referred to as “25-12”, 309 SS wire mesh is resistant to general corrosion and heat. 309 stainless steel wire mesh screen shows excellent oxidation resistance and strength at elevated temperatures. The maximum safe temperature for intermittent service is about 1800°F, and 2000°F for continuous service. It is non-magnetic when annealed, and slightly magnetic when cold worked. 309 SS wire mesh screen is often used for various furnace parts, aircraft and jet parts, heat exchangers, and chemical processing equipment and strainers.
